Ladro sets a high standard for its classic, no-nonsense wood-fired pizza. Not overwhelmed by extravagant toppings, the pizza is simple and perfectly executed with a thin, crisp base.
The casual dining atmosphere is suitable for larger group gatherings and walk ins with tables by the window.
Garlic bread, 1 per serve
Lightly charred with a hint of smokiness and lots of garlic butter.
Badabing: tomato, provolone, pork sausage, oregano, chilli, basil
The tomato sugo is divine and so is the combination of pork sausage, provolone and herbs. Finely diced chilli scattered on top gives the pizza a nice kick.
Porcini en Gorgonzola: fior di latte, gorgonzola, porcini, pangratatto, basil
A good ratio of gorgonzola meant the other ingredients were not overpowered by the strong blue cheese taste. Incredibly flavoursome and topped off with crunchy crouton bits, this pizza was delicious.
