Travel diary – Sydney, Australia

I love Sydney for its warmer weather, cosmopolitan lifestyle and balmy summer nights. Here are some highlights from a long weekend trip last last year.

Drinks at the Blu Bar

And the details..

Blu Bar
Doors open at 6pm. Arrive slightly earlier and if you are in a party of 2, you should be directed to a window table with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.

Felix Bar and Restaurant
Felix excels in no-nonsense French bistro cuisine. The food and service is top notch. Highly recommend the chicken liver pate and lamb shoulder for two.

The restaurant is also on the way to one of Sydney’s most popular clubs, The Ivy.

Jamie’s Italian
Make sure you head there early for a table, or be prepared to wait. Get the fried 3 cheese gnocchi, lasagna and chocolate brownie. You won’t regret it.
